This week in games: Crusader Kings II is as cheap as it will ever get, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep delayed - malonesulde1977

I know, I know, "Take me to theReformist Kings IIdeal." We'll incur in that location.

You'll find inside information below, plus new spooky trailers forControlandBlair Witch, a deadDestiny 2 delay, a longerPhoenix Point delay, and if you scroll mastered far adequate? The announcement of a newbornGarfield Kart sequel, because the human beings's an satire-laden hellscape and we might equally well accept it's never getting better.

This is play news for July 29 to August 2.

Grease one's palms Crusader Kings II

I usually plain these off with the week's free games, and Big's bountiful away some good ones this week. Both Relieve's classicAlan Wake and Ubisoft's passabl recent fighterFor Abide by are rising for grabs, which is quite an a one-deuce perforate.

Just Humiliate's got arguably the better deal this week. Yes, better than free. The current Humble Package lets you hang-upCrusader Kings II and all the John Roy Major expansions for a mere $15—with the base unfit and fin expansions included in the $1 grade. Paradox's grand strategy games are daunting butCrusader Kings Cardinal's theatrical role focalize makes IT a fairly available and entertaining place to start, and you'Ra getting or s $150 worth of game for a tenth the cost.Thousands of hours of political chicanery await. In spades check it out.

A dream

"I'd similar to tell you most a dream I had…" begins this, the creepiestControl prevue yet. Spoiler: The dream isn't very pleasant, and it's punctuated aside what might be 2019's most unsettling fake laugh, around the 35-secondly mark.

Disoriented in the forest

Bloober Team'sBlair Hag is looking at spooky as well. This week we got the first gameplay trailer, which features a cute dog that'sdefinitely going to die in some horrific way, plus myriad flashlights, creepy-crawly trees, creepier houses, and a found-footage surgical incision that's giving me some veryOutlast vibes. Capacious year for Bloober.

E. Honda

This weekend is Evo, the annual fighting game tournament, and Capcom undoubtedly meant to have got E. Honda'sStreet Fighter V debut for the show. Past the trailer went up on Steam. Oops. You'll cost competent to buy him Su, the Saame day as theStreet Fighter Vfinals.

Keep your cool

Portion 2′s upcomingShadowkeepexpansion is a big one. There's a new cause of flow, plus a deeper armor system, a new foray into, and more—non to mention a move from Battle.net to Steam, and the launch of a free-to-play version. Bungie's got a lot to do, and plainly it's going to yieldvindicatory a little yearner. Thursday, Bungie announcedShadowkeep and the accompanying political platform shift bequeath now debut October 1, a 2-week delay, with the raid set to release October 5.

Hybridization-save up capacity is arriving before the expansion though, if you'rhenium eager to move your character from PlayStation 4 over to PC. "Afterwards this summer" is the window Bungie gave.

Borderlands blitz

WithDestiny delayed, that leavesBorderlands all on its lonesome in mid-September. And a month out, the trailers are starting to build up. This hebdomad we gottwo, direction on vault hunters Zane and Moze. Zane's your gadget character, able-bodied to make a holograph of himself (and chat with it). Moze has a mech. Neither's fully hooked me yet, only Moze's mech did wreck enemies in a pretty rewarding way when I played the E3 demo.

Phoenix down

Other delay, this united a bit much substantial:XCOM religious replacementPhoenix Stage slipped from September 3 to some unknown mean solar day in December. The developers cite needing more time, although with September fairly packed IT could equal a tactical decision as well. Anyway, let's hope IT's the last delay for this much-delayed brave, and that the spear carrier meter serves its role.

Fortnite X

Fortnite kicked off Season X this week. The big gimmick? Mechs, which inPacific Rim fashion are operated aside deuce people—one for movement, one for guns—or one very active solo player. IT's neat, though I'm by and large curious whetherFortnite follows in Apple's footsteps, forever adding onto Season X until people leave it originally meant "Ten."

Three kingdoms, three heroes

Total War usually follows a fairly standard expansion route. You get your blood DLC, a few factions, etc..Three Kingdoms is doing something invigorating with its new Dynasty Mode though. It's au fond a rudimentary host mode, setting three hero units against waves of enemy troops. AptTotal War's battles aren't very active along a social unit-to-unit footing I'm not secure how fun it'll be, but it's an intriguing genre mashup.

Kat karts

November is reserved for only the biggest of video game releases, so it should come as no surprisal we're gettingGarfield Kart: Ferocious Racingon November 5. That's right, motivate o'erMario Kart. Your reign of terror is terminated, as everyone's favorite Monday-hating purge has paused ruining his proprietor's life long enough to anaesthetize a sequel to 2013's irony-adornedGarfield Kart.

And yet somehow they didn't ingest a pok ready to go with this announcement. For shame.

Garfield Kart: Furious Racing Garfield Kart: Raging Racing

Drunk DIY

Last but certainly not least, the developer ofJalopy disclosed a new game titledLandlord's Super. The meat? Get hammered while you hammer. Drink screwdrivers piece you screwdriver. Get drunk and build stuff. It looks a lot likeStar sign Flipper, but Sir Thomas More deliberately bunglesome and British. And did I mention you can drink?
